There are researchers who observed the correlation between Blood Type and Human’s Character. They have come to a conclusion that there is correlation between Blood Type and Human’s Character (or psychology). For example, a person with blood type A will be more tolerant compare to other blood type. While persons with blood type O have good leadership.
As a Christian, we cannot be separated from genetic factors that are in our physical body. No matter how long we become a Christian, we cannot eliminate genetic factors in our life. There are DNA which brings and inherits characters from our predecessors.
Race horses are genetically different from ordinary horses. Ordinary horses have limitation in their physical hence they cannot run as strong and fast as race horses.
Similarly to DNA, our spiritual character and growth is also determined by our spiritual DNA. Young adults will become more than a conqueror in all aspects. And our spiritual DNA will lead us to a victorious life.
There are two factors that will lead us to a victorious life :
1. Born again in Christ
Victorious life is determined by our birth. In 1 Corinthians 2:14 it is written, “But thanks be to God, who always leads us as captives in Christ’s triumphal procession and uses us to spread the aroma of the knowledge of him everywhere.”
God will bring us from glory to glory. Spiritual DNA is more important than physical DNA. We might have weaknesses in our physical body, however in Christ we get the strength. Nothing is impossible for our God. For those who is born again in Christ will defeat the world by the faith through Christ alone.
Having Christ in our life is assurance to lead us in victorious life.
2. Victorious life is not only determined by our birth but also our commitment to walk on God’s way
After become a Christian, there are still many ways in life we need to choose. Extremely, it can be classified into two : Right way or Wrong way. Right way means the way according to God’s will. And the decision is ours.
We should have commitment and passion in our worship, intimacy with God, and holiness in life. When we are worshipping, we are in God’s hotspot where we can download and upload everything through God’s channel. It includes healing, strength, hope, victory. But to get all of those, we must have passion and faith.
Our passion in Christ will determine our victory. David was a man with passion. He had great passion in Christ. David loved to dwell in God’s presence. In God’s presence, holy spirit enable us to overcome temptations. We win the battle as we are with God.
We must have commitment. We must put effort so that we are really able to live according to His plan. Joseph was tempted, but he overcame the temptations as he guarded his life and his heart. We will be easily defeated if we do not guard our heart and life.
In every victory in our life belongs to God not us. Lets magnify God in every victory that we have in our life.
